Preserving the Past, Serving the Present, Shaping the Future Northampton County Historical & Genealogical Society Don Repsher has just released The Common Sense Life: Tales from a Long-Ago Forest -- a meditative book encompassing historical contacts with the Native Americans of our area. Utilizing a host of seldom-read historical documents, Repsher’s book begins with the Norsemen in the 1300s and continues through the present, building a solid foundation for his discussion of Lenape lifeways and a central message of their spirituality. He was assisted in the composition of the book by contemporary Lenape descendants Chief Robert Red Hawk, Philip Graywolf, Chuck Gentle Moon DeMund, and Carol Kuhn. Don will hold a book-signing following the presentation.
